1.Stateside - ‘It’s What We Do’
The amount of greatness packed into this 5 song, 18 minute EP, is so standout that it skyrocketed to being my favorite EP release of the year after hearing it and it’s stayed there since. This is essentially a perfect EP for the genre. It definitely has the nostalgic elements of emo and pop/punk, in similar ways to how bands like Koyo or Stand Still do, but the band carved out their own lane and created fantastic songs. It’s a really impressive EP. The production is spot-on and it’s mixed nicely. I’m hoping we hear more from this band sooner rather than later.
