Sound In The Signals - Best Albums of 2023

Sound In The Signals is excited to share our best albums of 2023 list. To be considered for this list the album had to be released between January 1st - December 22, 2023. Check out the list below and be sure to tell us what you’ve been listening to this year.

1.blink-182 - ‘One More Time…’

It’s been neat to see the band reinvigorated with the return of the classic line-up of blink-182. It seems, at least from an outsider’s perspective, that they have the best relationship they’ve had since the early-mid 2000s. I feel like this album lives up to the hype I had for the return of Tom. Mark and Tom’s vocal trade off will always be one of the most notable pop/punk duos. We get a lot of those great moments on this album. While I’m not totally sure I like it more than the Matt Skiba era album ‘California’ it’s probably just as good. I do think it’s better than ‘Neighborhoods’ and ‘Nine’. It breathes a lot of life back into the band and I think it’s a big statement from them. It’s great to see this classic line-up back. I think this album was impressive and delivered most of what I wanted.
