Meaning:

“Hindsight is about dealing with friends or anyone honestly, who transforms into someone who puts on an act. They’re always off and on with you, or they seem genuine in front of people, but behind the scenes, it’s a different story. I had a friend like this way back when I was in high school and I was honestly sick of it, and it turned out to take a huge toll on my mental health. The song comes from me just basically saying “I’ve had enough” and just ended up cutting it off completely.”
