Three Cheers Too Late - Sound In The Signals Interview

I recently had the opportunity to interview Three Cheers Too Late. We discussed the band’s origins, their new song “This Might Be It”, their upcoming video, EP, and more. Check it out below.

First, thanks for the interview.

no, thank YOU 😁

Can you tell me how you got together and what got you interested in music for anyone who is not familiar with your band?

So that old rhythm game “Rock Band” is actually what got Anthony (vocals) and I (James, drums) into everything. We were like, “Hey, we can do this”.

And of course looking up to bands like MCR, Good Charlotte, Reliant K, NFG, Blink etc.

Your new song “This Might Be It” came out recently. What was the writing and recording process like for the song? How long did you work on it?

That song itself was an idea that came from our old bassist. That track was in the works for a good 6 months at least. Along with the rest of the EP.

The artwork for the new single is really eye-catching. I like the design and the colors. Who came up with the concept and designed it?

Thank you! It was actually a design @nevergladart on Instagram. Anthony felt is could serve as a strong symbol for his grandmother who unfortunately passed away in November of 2019. The lyrics of these tracks all pertain to that time in his life.

Anthony and I loved the idea of the solid colors for each new single. We thought it was nice and clean.

I saw that you have more music coming out soon. What can you tell me about it and when do you think fans can expect it?

We’re very excited to share the rest of the EP with everyone. Like I said above, this EP is about grief. At the same time though, we feel we made songs that each differentiate their vibe.

You’re also teasing an upcoming video. What can you tell me about it?

This will be our third video with the great Bradan Giehl. Follow him @brandangiehl_film

He’s amazing at what he does, and we’re especially excited for this video because there was a lot more production behind it; hired actors and everything. It will showcase our third single before the release of the rest of the EP.

Thanks for taking the time to answer the questions. Do you have anything else that you would like to add?

Our pleasure. Thanks for having this interview feel natural.

After our new EP, keep on the lookout! Three Cheers Too Late will be full steam ahead.
