Future made history by being the first to score back-to-back #1 debuts on the Billboard 200 chart. He released his self-titled album and HNDRXX a week later. This makes him the first to succeed himself at #1 since 1968 and the first soloist to ever achieve this. His self-titled album landed at #2 while HNDRXX debuted at #1.

Bruno Mars came in at #3 with 24K Magic, Little Big Town came in at #4 with The Breaker, and the Trolls soundtrack came in at #5.
