Samsung's Production of Galaxy Note 7 Is Halted
You may remember that soon after Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 was released in stores in August that some customers reported that their phones were bursting into flames. Samsung recalled the devices worldwide and blamed poor batteries for overheating and catching fire. They were seemingly fixing the error and started sending out replacements, but production on the phone is now reportedly being temporarily suspended as the replacement phones are experiencing similar issues. This major announcement is furthered by AT&T and T-Mobile's decision to stop exchanging the Note 7s and suspending the sale of all Note 7s, respectfully. See T-Mobile's message below.
Customers w/ a Note7 should visit a @TMobile store to return, get dif. device/refund & receive $25 bill credit to offset any costs incurred. https://t.co/xE3TUZWTlk— John Legere (@JohnLegere) October 9, 2016
