Roanoke is a rising Americana & Folk band out of Nashville, TN. They debuted their self-titled album earlier this year. They shared a unique, behind the scenes view of their tour with us starting at their first show on this tour in Roanoke, VA. We were excited to see where the road took them, how much fans enjoyed their music, and fun moments from on and off the stage. Today they are sharing a playlist of what they listened to while on tour and their list of "Touring 101: What We Learned On The Road".

Bring Snacks and butt wipes
Don’t leave food in the van
Bring extra socks and underwear
Always warm up before a show
Bring lots of deodorant
Shower whenever you get a chance
Nap, nap, nap
Document everything
Make a playlist
Read that book you’ve been meaning to
Explore
Make new friends
Write a song
Let little things go, you will spend way too much time with your band mates
Talk it out
Bring no more than 1 hat each
Dance. A lot
Play every show the best you can no matter how many people show up
Get exercise whenever you get the chance
Give each other compliments and encourage each other
Stay hydrated
Take vitamins (stay healthy)
Try new food
Talk to locals
Stay and watch the other bands
Make friends with the other bands
Happily accept free food, and stash it away for later
Keep a positive attitude, its easy to get discouraged
Enjoy your time on the road
