Outerloop Records x Cooking Vinyl America - New Worldwide Label Initiative
Outerloop Records is excited to announced that they are partnering with Cooking Vinyl America on a new worldwide label initiative. Outerloop founder Mike Mowery spent a decade managing bands like Darkest Hour, Refused, Carnifex, Ice Nine Kills, We Came As Romans, and Escape The Fate, and he plans to launch this label to help developing artists take advantage of their music and sound recording rights. Chasing Safety and the new and improved Youth in Revolt will be returning and new signings Lorna Shore and Megosh will join.
Mowery said, "when we went looking for a new label home there were many people who expressed interest. Our track record for both managing and releasing developing artists is unrivaled. As a team, we have always been willing to go the extra mile for our artists to help them grow, and we are elated to have another arm of our company to help artists develop and prosper. Howie Gabriel and Marc Schapiro, of Cooking Vinyl America, have demonstrated equal enthusiasm for what we aim to do and we cannot be more proud to partner with them".
Howard Gabriel, Cooking Vinyl America added "Mike's instincts in working with young talent has proven that he has the skills and the ears to break new artists. We hope that with that talent and our marketing expertise and global reach we will be able to help him successfully break these new Outerloop artists".
To celebrate, Youth in Revolt released a cover video of Ellie Goulding's "Something in the Way You Move". Watch below.
