Issue Of The Month: "Jupiter's Legacy" Vol. 2 #3 (August 2016)
It's time for another issue of the month when I pick one issue from
any current running comic series to highlight. For August 2016, I decided
to pick Jupiter's Legacy Vol. 2 #3.
Volume 2 of this series has been really good. It's also been nice that this series has been released a little more consistently than volume 1. It has really helped the story flow a lot better, if you are reading it issue to issue and not trade waiting. This issue is one of the neater ones of the entire series. Skyfox is a really interesting character with an interesting backstory and I'm really excited to see his story in this current volume unfold. He has a huge chip on his shoulder and I think it's going to make for some great aspects of this volume. Also the last page of this issue is so classic Mark Millar in a great way. The art on this series is fantastic and this issue continues that trend. I think the style of the characters adds so much to this series. This is not the best jumping on point, however. If you want to check this out then you really need to start with volume 1. That being said it's definitely worth it. This is an interesting story that really has an interesting take on the superhero genre. It's something Millar is known for and he does a great job with it. I think this issue really shows that and more.
