Cartoon Network - 'Adventure Time' & 'Regular Show' To End

As reported earlier this month, Cartoon Network announced that Regular Show will end after its eighth season, which just debuted. JG Quintel, creator and executive producer, said "making Regular Show has been so much fun. We got to tell all of the stories we wanted to tell, and making the choice to go out exactly how we want to go out. We're so proud and excited for people to see how we're wrapping things up in a big, big way. We're bringing everything full circle".

Cartoon Network just announced that Adventure Time also has a end date in sight. They said "CN is proud of the world created over 142 half-hours of Adventure Time, & we can't wait to watch the journey continue over the next 2 years!". The series will end in 2018. Creator Pendleton Ward said "Adventure Time was a passion project for the people on the crew who poured their heart into the art and stories. We tried to put into every episode something genuine and telling from our lives, and make a show that was personal to us, and that had jokes too! I'm really happy that it connected with an audience for so long. It's a special thing, I think".
