Apple Keynote Event - September 7th (How to Watch & What to Expect)
Apple will host their annual fall keynote event today, September 7th in San Francisco. The keynote will begin at 10 AM PDT. You can watch it online via their website.
They are set to reveal more details about the upcoming iPhone 7. One issue that users are eager to hear more about is if they still plan to discontinue the use of the headphone jack, which has been a controversial issue after pictures of the device have leaked. The camera is rumored to be even better with this device including better use in low-light. Users are also hoping for a larger storage capacity, as well. There's also a rumor that the iPhone might be more water resistant (perhaps waterproof).
They are also set to announce a new version of the Apple Watch. It's rumored that the new Apple Watch will feature GPS technology. The Apple Watch will see a software upgrade as well as upcoming software updates for all Apple products. iOS 10 (for iPhone and iPad) will feature more stickers and disappearing messages, Siri will see another upgrade, and Photos will use facial recognition and generate movies.
There's not been a lot of talk of upgrades for Apple MacBooks or iMacs or iPads, but that could come later this year or early next year. There could be discussion on the recent disagreement between Apple and the FBI and perhaps even discussion about the recent, rare iOS upgrade that all users needed to do to prevent vulnerabilities.
Come back later for more news after the event.
