Twitter Has a New 'Quality Filter' For Abuse & Bullying
Twitter added a new feature that will help you ignore trolls. This comes after their attempts (sometimes more public than others such as the deletion of well-known bullying, abusive accounts) to curb abuse and bullying on the social media service. It's offering a 'Quality Filter'. The filter is off by default, so you will need to set it up if you want to use it. Not a lot of details are out about how exactly Twitter plans to do this, but they say the filter will "improve the quality of Tweets you see by using a variety of signals, such as account origin and behavior". It should help eliminate abuse, threats, abusive language, spam, and Tweets that may be suspicious.
