Tom DeLonge Explains the True Meaning of Punk

Tom DeLonge has an upcoming special on Ernie Ball: The Pursuit of Tone, which is a documentary series that focuses on musicians. We already had a first glimpse, but he shared another clip today where he describes the true meaning of punk. He discussed meeting Joe Strummer and Liam Gallagher, which impacted him and he discusses how his definition has changed over time.

Watch Ernie Ball's Pursuit of Tone on Friday, August 19th on the Audience Network. The 90 minute documentary will discuss "the stories behind Tom's early influences in the San Diego skate scene to his sonic evolution from Blink 182 to Box Car Racer and Angels and Airwaves as well as his passion for film, novels, animation and constant artistic exploration".
