Disney has plans to remake their popular 1984 film
Splash. The new version will feature Jillian Bell and Channing Tatum. However, the stars will switch original roles. Tatum will star as the mermaid character that was originally portrayed by Daryl Hannah. Bell will portray the role originated by Tom Hanks. Ron Howard and Brian Grazer (Imagine Entertainment) will produce the film.
