Melbourne five-piece Phoenix Day released their new video for "Stronger". The song was entirely self produced by the band and was recorded at Two Brother's Studios in Bentleigh, Melbourne which is their home studio. ARIA-nominated producer Forrester Savell (Karnivool, The Occupants) mixed the single. The song started as a response to the 2015 European refugee crisis and other conflicts happening throughout the world. It ended up offering a message of positivity and unity.
The band said, "we really wanted to explore themes that relate to the capacity of the human spirit - the fact that we are all so much stronger than we think we are, and that if we’re able to stop, even just momentarily, and zoom out, see the bigger picture, that that can be really helpful in reminding us of, and tapping into that strength".
