Next Two Avengers Films Are A Culmination of The Universe

At one point Avengers: Infinity War was going to be split into two movies. They will still release Avengers: Infinity War in May 2018 and have plans to release the second film in May 2019, but it's currently without a title and has a different storyline than initially imagined. They revealed that Avengers: Infinity War and the untitled film will start the culmination of everything they've been working towards since the Marvel Cinematic Universe was first depicted (in this outing) in 2008. Yes, it is somewhat of an ending to one part of the films, but it will also be a fresh start to the Universe. We've already seen this start with the fan-favorite addition of Spider-Man into the Universe and with the celebrated introduction of Black Panther. So basically these movies will mean the end of certain aspects in the Universe and will also mark the beginning of what's to come afterwards.

What do you think this means? Could we see more introductions of new characters? Will we have to say goodbye to some characters after the films?
