Harry Potter and The Cursed Child - The Play, Cast Videos, Harry's Final Book, & Keeping The Secrets

We have lots to look forward to in the world of Harry Potter with the Harry Potter and The Cursed Child play opening and the release of the Harry Potter and The Cursed Child Parts One and Two book.

J.K. Rowling shared her thoughts at the Harry Potter and The Cursed Child gala performance at the Palace Theare in London. She described what started the idea of a play, how the early reviews are extraordinary, and how she hopes fans continue to 'keep the secrets' for fans who can't watch it and are waiting for the book. She also said this will most likely be the last book for Harry. Watch below.

Actor Sam Clemmett shared some neat videos during the performance and after it finished. Watch those clips below.

If you can't make it to a performance, no worries! They are releasing a special rehearsal edition script as a book, called Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II (Special Rehearsal Edition): The Official Script Book of the Original West End Production . It's based on the original story of the play and counts as the eighth story in the Harry Potter series. The book is available on July 31, 2016.

The premise is this:

"It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.
"

The book can be found at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, iTunes and at various other retailers.
