Nick Zano Joins "DC's Legends of Tomorrow"

We have another hero joining the CW. Last month we revealed that Superman would be joining his cousin (most likely in a small role) on Supergirl once it's moved to the CW this fall. It's now confirmed that Nick Zano (Melrose Place, Cougar Town, Happy Endings) will become a series regular on DC's Legends of Tomorrow. He'll become Dr. Nate Haywood who is a historian and grandson of Commander Steel, a member of Justice Society of America. Not much is being said about his role or character yet, but Haywood becomes known as Citizen Steel in the comics so it's natural to assume this will happen in the series, as well.

The Justice Society of America was teased in the season finale of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. It's been reported that the producers plan to feature the Justice Society in the upcoming season. More members of the society will be joining, but there is no clear information yet.

Other changes to the show include the loss of Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee). Wentworth Miller has been downgraded from a series regular, but he will still make some appearances. (Did you hear about the return of Prison Break?) As teased in the DC Universe on CW's Arrow, Vixen will be joining the legends, as well. She is being recast at this time. Season two will start in the fall.
