Every Time I Die - “The Coin Has A Say" (Song Review)
After Touché Amoré just dropped what I would assume to be the best heavy track of the week one of the Kings of the heavy genre just threw their hat in the ring. Every Time I Die announced their new album, Low Teens, yesterday and with the announcement they released a muddy, boot stomping reminder of why just about everything they've done is pretty darn good and really most of it is really great! "The Coin Has a Say" is fast, epic, fist pumping, and fun. Keith Buckley howls like a maniac throughout the song while the music chugs along like a metal-bending speeding train. I love how urgent the music sounds in the song. It pumps you up like you're drinking a Five Hour Energy drink. At this point Every Time I Die does everything so well you can't even argue with it. This may not be breaking any new ground for the band, but it shows that there is still plenty of train track ahead for the band and their music. All in all it's just Wednesday and we've gotten two new great heavy songs. That's a good week if you ask me! Check this out. It's Every Time I Die. The band name is almost synonymous with good, at this point!
