Sound In The Signals - Issue Of The Month: Ghostbusters Get Real #1 (June 2015)

It's time for another issue of the month when I pick one issue of from any current running comic series to highlight. This month I decided to pick Ghostbusters Get Real issue 1. Read the full feature after the jump.

The IDW Ghostbusters are back in an all new four issue mini-series. This time around they encounter the cartoon versions of themselves The Real Ghostbusters. After a universe hop The Real Ghostbusters land in the IDW comic book world and find themselves in a very similar and slightly different place. This is such a neat issue for both fans of the IDW series as well as fans of the classic cartoon. The artwork is really well done. It's really neat to see the contrast in looks of both sets of Ghostbusters.

This series is off to a really well executed beginning. It's also really great after the IDW series wrapped that this new mini-series is diving back into the world and will no doubt give fans of the IDW series another fun outing with the IDW Ghostbusters. If you've ever been a fan of Ghostbusters in movies, comics, or cartoons especially the latter two you should really check this out.
