Bleed American - Disregard (Sound In The Signals Stream)
Today we have a stream of Bleed American's song "Disregard". The song is from the band's upcoming album Figure It Out. The album will be out on February 14, 2015. Jordan from the band also took a moment to discuss the song and the writing process of the song. Check out both the song and his track discussion after the jump!
Jordan:
“Disregard is a song about being away and missing someone. I’m almost never around because I produce and engineer for other bands, play in this band and work a day job. It keeps me insanely busy and it leads to an awful lot of frustration and strains all of my relationships a great deal. When we started writing this album we wanted to branch off a little bit and write some material that was a bit more laid back. We demo’d this in a really cool old house I was housesitting at over the summer and sat on it until we started picking stuff for the album. This is the only track on the album that is not representative of what you would hear at a live show, there are about 20 different guitar parts in the chorus and in the bridge there are six floor toms we recorded as a group to get that sound. It also doesn’t change progression at any point and uses dynamics to catch your ear which is a departure from how we normally write. I’m really happy with how the final version came out for this song.”
