Sound In The Signals - Issue Of The Month (November 2014)

It's time for another issue of the month when I pick one issue of the current month from any current running comic series to highlight. This month I decided to pick Scarlet Spiders issue one. Read the full feature after the jump.






I'm a big fan of all three of the Scarlet Spiders that are present in this book. It is a little odd that Ben Reilly and Ultimate Jessica Drew aren't really Scarlet Spiders in the book. Drew is currently going by the name Black Widow and Ben Reilly is featured in his Spider-Man suit. Other than that detail, which doesn't really bother me much, this is a really interesting book. It's really cool to get see Ben Reilly back in the Spider-Man storyline even if it is an alternative universe Ben. This is a cool issue with good artwork and an interesting side story to the Spider-verse. I'm really looking forward to what unfolds for this trio during Spider-verse. I also think this might be some of the better artwork I've seen for Ultimate Jessica Drew's Black Widow look.
