Sound In The Signals - Issue Of The Month (August 2014)
It's time for another issue of the month when I pick one issue of the
current month from any current running comic series to highlight. This
month I decided to pick Kick-Ass 3 issue 8. This is the grand finale of Kick-Ass and I truly enjoyed it!
So this is it for Kick-Ass. This is a series I've thoroughly enjoyed. I'm a huge fan of all three volumes and the last issue of this volume wraps everything up and launches the Millarworld universe in a really neat way. I won't spoil anything about this series. So I can't really divulge many details. I will say this is a series worth reading from start to finish. The writing and artwork are super solid for this issue (they have been for the entire series). I really enjoyed the way this series ended. As a fan for years this ending left me pretty satisfied and I was impressed with just how good of a job Millar did ending this series. This may be the end but I'm excited about all things Millarworld and Mark Millar is already writing some fantastic new comic books. So definitely check those out if you are bummed Kick-Ass is over.
