Highlighting Artists (June 2014)

It's time for the sixth installment of one of our newer features. This feature basically highlights bands/artists that I think are worth checking out. They may have significant buzz or they might not be on many people's radars just yet. Check out all of the June picks after the jump.




Longest War - Longest War



Longest War features members from Chokehold, Despair, Union, and Achilles. This is a nice sounding hardcore/punk release. Really good vocals and guitar work. Definitely check out their two song release (also available on 7" vinyl).

McCalister - Where We've Come From, Who We've Been



Where We've Come From, Who We've Been is a pretty fun pop/punk/rock EP. It kind of reminds me of older All Time Low in some respects. I enjoy the equally split male and female lead vocals. It is chocked full of great catchy songs. Really nice release for this time of the year.
